Brighton’s Passion is a feature film drama in development to be filmed on location in Brighton and Hove in 2012.

Brighton’s Passion was originally intended as a one day Passion Play street event. During the research and interview process with the people of Brighton, cinematic ideas led the development to explore a commercial feature-film concept in which the The Passion story is elevated to the big screen, set on location in Brighton. This contemporary adapation is marketed for youth and high street culture.

The production is already widely supported and partnering with Brighton’s established city charities, trusts, council, church, business and community leaders.  Brighton’s Passion is pioneering a profit share scheme for charity and business investors, to market this  exciting, cutting-edge retelling of this classic story to a new generation.

As with many artistic ventures, the original vision has grown and evolved and those of us who gave birth to the original idea have seen it develop into two separate projects.
